The world’s most underrated supplement.

Silica boosts your natural collagen structures, and increases the effect of any collagen supplements you take. In fact, collagen is pretty much functionless without it.

Our silica levels drop as we age, so if you like the idea of maintaining supple skin, strong nails, and nourished hair – this is a supplement worth taking.

  • Non-GMO

Tested. Inspected. Perfected.

Our products are exceptional. But obviously we’re a little biased. Which is why we work with third-party labs to make sure everything we sell is pure, fresh, and does the job it says it will.

Just take your product’s lot number (that’s the code next to the expiration date) and enter it here. You’ll get a full rundown of how it was tested, and how it performed against pharmaceutical standards. It’s like a report card for your supplements, and we don’t put anything in front of you unless it passes with flying colours.

FAQs

What is Silica?

Silicon (Si) is the second most abundant element in the Earth's crust after oxygen, making up about 27.7% by weight. It is found primarily in the form of silicates and silica (silicon dioxide, SiO₂) in rocks, sand, and soil.

In the human body, silicon is present in trace amounts and is found in various tissues — especially:

  • Connective tissues (skin, hair, nails)
  • Bone and cartilage
  • Blood vessels and aorta
  • Liver, kidneys, and lungs

Although not classified as an essential element in all countries, silicon is recognized as biologically important, especially in collagen formation, bone mineralization, and connective tissue integrity.

Why Is Silicon Important for Human Health?

Scientific evidence shows that Silicon plays a crucial role in the maintenance of connective tissues—including skin, joints, cartilage, and bones (Martin 2007; Jurkic 2013).

Since the 1970s, studies have shown that silicium deficiency can lead to
abnormal bone and cartilage development, which can be reversed with
supplementation using soluble forms of silicium (Carlisle 1980; Calomme 1997).

Silica: A Nutrient Left Off Today’s Menu?

In the U.S. and U.K., average dietary silicium intake ranges from 20–50 mg per day, with lower intakes observed in women and the elderly (Jugdaohsingh 2002; Bella 1994). With age, intake typically falls below 20 mg/day. For example, elderly British women were found to consume only 18.6 ± 4.6 mg/day in a controlled intervention study.

To meet daily silicium needs, average contributions come from:

  • 55% from water, coffee, and beer
  • 14% from grain products
  • 8% from vegetables

However, modern diets— which are increasingly refined and processed— tend to have lower silicium content. Combined with an aging population, this leads to a growing prevalence of low silicium levels. (HORTSCIENCE VOL. 44(1) FEBRUARY 2009 – Declining nutrient compositions

Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. 3(1):51-55, 2006.)

Silicium intake and absorption decrease with age.
More and more people lack adequate silicon.

What is MESOPOROSIL®?

Mesoporosil is a highly soluble, amorphous mesoporous silica with unique bioavailability properties supported by studies. It’s designed to release high levels of silicon.

Why is it called MESOPOROSIL®?

The name comes from its structure—mesoporous silica, a micron-sized particle with a porous network.

Are there clinical studies?

Yes. Studies have demonstrated bioavailability through EX-VIVO (Ussing), pre-clinical (2021), and clinical (2023) IN-VIVO studies focusing on bone and skin health.

(Singh et al. 2024 – Clin Skin Dermatol Med)

Claims supported by studies.

Reduces wrinkles, improves skin elasticity & firmness

Strengthens nails and hair (gloss, thickness, volume)

Aids bone healing & remineralization

How does it compare to SiO₂ in supplements?

MESOPOROSIL® outperforms traditional SiO₂ in solubility and absorption.

Origin of MESOPOROSIL®?

Mineral-based.

Optimal time to consume?

Morning (with breakfast) for fastest absorption.

Effectiveness in different pH?

Effective across pH levels.
